More model informationThis possible shaving mug was found during the 2005 excavations at Saints Rest, the first dormatory built on MSU’s campus. Before hot water was available from a tap, it would have been pulled from a well and heated on a stovetop before being placed in a shaving mug in the bathroom. Many shaving mugs were personalized, but this particular mug shows no individualization. Since this mug was present when Saints Rest burned down, any individualized decorations may have been destroyed.
This model was created by CAP Fellow Jack A. Biggs using photogrammetry and Agisoft PhotoScan.
