More model informationThis AOC (all-over-cord) decorated Bell Beaker, reconstructed from 76 sherds, likely dates to the Copper Age and is of an international style. It was decorated by wrapping a long, twisted cord carefully around the vessel before the clay had dried, to create analmost imperceptible spiral. The Beaker was discovered, as well as several other vessels, during excavations at Upper Largie in Kilmartin.
