More model informationOkina
It is a synonym for Okina, and so named because it is painted white (haku). There is another variation Kokushiki-jō, which is painted black (koku). The lower jaw separated from and hinged to the face is a distinguishing character of the type of Okina. Hakushiki-jō was born before Noh in its original forms of sarugaku or dengaku, and was used in prayers and celebrations. It has a soft smile of the deity symbolising the country and the world at peace, bountiful harvests, long lives, and prosperity of the current and the future generations.
