Prehistoric monumental tomb to Cugno Case Vecchie near Canicattini Bagni (Siracuse, Sicily). This monumental tomb is dated between 2200 and 1450 BC (Old age of ancient bronze in Sicily), Castelluccio prehistoric culture. The characteristic of these tombs is to have a prospectus often characterized by a pavilion decorated with pilasters or columns. However, there are other types of decorative tombstones statements that demonstrate considerable variability and complexity of this prehistoric culture. Castelluccio culture is an archaeological feature dating to Ancient Bronze Age (2000 a.C. approximately) of the prehistoric civilization of Sicily, originally identified by Paolo Orsi on the basis of a particular ceramic style, in the homonymous village, between Noto and Siracusa.
