This is my second starship I have ever worked on in complete 3-D. I’m gonna be frank, I loved the approach of Star Trek Axanar and really got bummed out when CBS did their crap, but I’m happy they’re going strong in making the 4 Years War a reality. On to the design: I love the Ares class as a design of TOS warfare. I can see her as a sort of variant for the Anton Class, only beef I had with the ship was some TMP era stuff that was added on. So, I made my own spin with some “Retro-fits”. Fun fact: at one time I thought about adding a mini Kill-chart on her sides showing how many D-6s she sank during the 4 Years War but dropped it because I felt it was not federation standard, even for her being a warship and all.
