Golden Chariot

This is a model of a south Indian chariot or, Ther. They are commonly used for religious processions, but in feudal times they were utilized as a vehicle in battle, pulled by horses. The chariot is wooden embellished with gold textures and bright colors as a symbol of royalty and beauty. I chose a red flag as a symbol of hope and prosperity. On the flag, there is an image of the Hindu god Hanuman, who is worshipped as the god of wind. This flag flying gallantly in their air showcases the faith that was bestowed on the deity to lead the people to victory. Replacing the country’s flag with one of a deity represents the large role religion plays in everyday life.
