The Paisley Caves have produced the oldest human dates in North America. Human coprolites from the lowest levels of the cave have been dated to more than 14,000 BP.

The art in Paisley is not as impressive as the dates. It is difficult to make out without using D-Stretch. Luther Cressman did recover red ochre when he began his excavations here in the 1930s.
