This artifact is a miniature bronze statue made in the image of a woman. It was most likely was placed in a temple in Korea. Due to previous improper storing conditions, part of this statue has rusted and turned green.
This miniature statue is part of the the collection of Asian + South East Asian works of art that were personally owned by John Young and then later donated to the John Young Museum of Art in 1999.
The John Young Museum is a learning learning complex on the University of Hawaii at Manoa campus.
