Models were derived using photogrammetry in Autodesk Remake from plaster casts housed in the Blanton Museum of Art.
Originally, each sculpture was photographed and modeled individually but segments of other sculptures showed up in the individual models and I wanted to see what would happen if I placed the images for all three sculptures in the same model. Images used for this model are the exact same as the images used for the previous three individual models.
Plaster casts of marble sculptures depicting Euripides, Homer, and Julia Domna. The quality is drastically worse compared to models focusing in a single object. This is perhaps because the software has more input to keep track of but it is also likely that the decrease in quality is due to the fact that photos with all three models present in relation to each other are lacking because placing all three sculptures in the same model was not part of the plan when photos were taken.
