More model informationThis 3D reconstruction shows the full size and shape of the Pinellas Point Mound at Indian Mound Park in St. Petersburg, Florida prior to partial destruction in 1929. Data used to create this reconstruction include terrestrial laser scanning survey data collected in 2014 along with survey details from the c. 1880 S.T. Walker map that was made prior to site alteration. This reconstruction shows that the site had an extensive ramp feature pointing to the south, as well as a distinctive “T” shape. The portion of the site to the west of the ramp is largely missing today.
