This is one side of a three-sided monument which stands in the peace plaza at San Francisco’s Japan-town. The bronze bas-relief panel depicts the Japanese-American community’s shameful internment during World War 2.
Unfortunately lighting conditions prevented me from capturing the other 2 sides.
It shot the scan using a gopro hero4 silver set in time lapse more to shoot a photo every 0.5 seconds. With this setup the scan becomes gestural, almost like painting the object. The fisheye lens makes framing less important. The quality of the photos is good and the newer versions of Agisoft can handle them well (if slowly). But the lack of exposure control meant it was only possible for me to scan under optimal lighting conditions.
