THE SPATIAL SKIN OF ATHENS

This workshop explores the architectural and digital layers of Athens through the lens of experimental media. By examining the city’s surfaces - its facades and spatial structures - participants will engage in artistic and technological approaches to analyze and reimagine the ‘skin’ of Athens. The workshop combines urban field research and media experimentation to construct speculative spatial narratives.

Taking as a starting point the previous theme entitled Roots for a Digital Future, on which we worked in Setubal, Portugal, exploring issues of the temporal connection between past and future, but also because the Greek event will be the last meeting that will complete the interdisciplinary - inter-university programme that started four years ago, we propose the title CROSSROADS AND FOOTPRINTS.
