Rock deformational fabrics 3D Models

2

These are photogrammetric 3D scans of selected specimens from the rock deformational fabric collection of the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena, Germany, curated by prof. Kamil Ustaszewski. Scans were obtained for testing purposes during my short visit in Jena in late Feb - early March 2020. Little did we know that a few weeks later the world was going to be shot down due to the Coronavirus epidemic!

We are putting these models online with the hope that they will be helpful to students and instructors for remote learning. All models are freely downloadable, and original scaled models are available upon request as Agisoft Metashape projects, or as *.OBJ or *.3DS files. For more information about this fabolous structural collection, see Kamil's poster on Researchgate (DOI: 10.13140/RG.2.2.34778.49608), or follow the link provided in specimen descriptions.
