Maxine Farmer is an emerging sculptor who has studied sculpture and other aspects of art at St Martin’s, the V&A and Tate Britain in London. She has also studied under and collaborated with Beatrice Hoffman, the celebrated Oxfordshire-based sculptor. Maxine’s sculpture ‘The Dancers’ was shortlisted for the Visual Art Open’s International Emerging Artist Awards 2021. In January 2022, five of Maxine’s sculptures were featured in ‘Eternity’, an art exhibition by The Holy Art gallery in London. Maxine is a member of the Oxford Sculptors Group and divides her time between studios in the UK and the South of France.

Maxine’s style is interpretative and generally quite abstract: she finds capturing figurative energy and emotion more fascinating than detail.
