A practice & personal mini-project. I wanted a high definition Halo Reach DMR, and I got to practice more with using my upscaling library. So this was a nice win/win.
I use ESRGAN for upscaling, and I have/utilize way too many models to list them all. Some are custom, most are not. I have a workflow of going back & forth with anywhere from a few to a dozen different runs with different models while working on upscales until I find the one that works best for the asset. Afterwards I clean up the images manually for any weird noise/details that the upscaler may have added/interpreted incorrectly.
