More model informationThis cannon is located on the bottom of Scarborough Harbour, Tobago. Artifacts from the 18th and 19th centuries lie around it. The cannon is not in its original location. If you look closely, you can see a wire wrapped around the trunnions - someone tried to steal it, but failed! It is likely that the gun is originally from the 1677 Battle of Rockley Bay. An investigation of the underwater heritage site is being led by Dr. Kroum Batchvarov of the University of Connecticut.
