An almost whole 17th century, gravel tempered, milk pan. The rim is 17 inches, base 8.5 inches and it’s height 6 inches. Lead glaze on the inside. This was found in 1 foot of water, up-side-down, almost buried, at the mouth of the River Torridge estuary on an extreem low tide; a crab was living inside it!
