The 1998 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 Turbo is a luxury grand tourer equipped with numerous cutting-edge technologies of its time. With only 231 units produced, the 1998 model is one of the rarest VR-4 variants. The VR-4 Turbo featured a twin-turbocharged V6 engine and full-time four-wheel drive with a viscous coupling center differential, designed to compete with rivals like the Nissan 300ZX and Toyota Supra. However, some of the complex systems designed during the bubble era were later discontinued. It is equipped with a 3.0L DOHC twin-turbo V6 engine, producing 320 horsepower and 43.5 kgf·m of torque.
