More model informationThis is a composite model of a brick wall dating to 1824. It was originally a component of one of the ranges of the Newcastle Asylum and was constructed as part of series of improvements designed by the famous Newcastle architect John Dobson. The wall is largely shielded from view by an intervening building and can only be accessed along a narow alley. Creating a 3 dimensional model using overlapping images was the only way to record the elevation in its entirety
