古墳時代後期（６世紀初め）高さ約12㎝

6世紀初めの榛名山の噴火で埋没した祭祀遺構から出土しました。二重の胴部の外側には透かしが巡る特殊な意匠の𤭯（はそう）です。二重になった胴部の間には丸い玉が入っており、振ると音がします。祭祀に用いられる器として極めて珍しいものです。

Sue ware, Height 12 cm / Shibukawa City, Gunma Prefecture: This Sue ware (unglazed stoneware) was excavated from a ritual site dating back to the early 6th century (Kofun period). This is a ritual tool used for pouring liquids by inserting a straw into the hole in the body. It is a special design with a translucent pattern on the outer side of the double body.
