MED DéCo.U. Plages Project: the objectives of this project phase - GT 3 - there is the creation of a high definition 3D cartography of the accumulation areas. Various methodologies and technical solutions will be used, which include, in particular, the use of: vessels along the coasts, through which it will be possible to acquire the images necessary for the creation of a visual inventory; Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS)and surface vehicles, which will ensure spatial coverage for the acquisition and evaluation of images and the creation of a geo-referenced 3D cartography model. Among the actions of GT3, following the finalization of the bibliographic research and the analysis of satellite photos, the field activities foresee, on the basis of shared methods and tools, the monitoring of accumulations directly by citizens and users of the beaches (Citizen Science).
