This 3D Model shows the possibilities to reuse older excavation documentation to establish sufficient 3D Models.

In this case the profile of an feature from a bronze age village was reconstructed using 26 pictures I took in 2013. At the time it looked a bit like overkill to take so many pictures but they there just the right amount to get a clean model.

For photogrammetry models the quality of the camera is not so important as it may seem. The pictures for this model was taken using an GT19100 (Samsung Galaxy S2) that was already an out of date smartphone in 2013.
