41TE0009 - Meyers Springs - Panel 13D Model
41TE0009 (Meyers Springs) is an extensive archaeological site located within the Lower Pecos Canyonlands of Texas. This rockshelter site contains an elaborate pictographic rock art panel (Panel 1) that spans nearly 300 feet across the shelter wall. The rock art panel has hundreds of Historic era images, in addition to fragments of the older Pecos River Style images. The upstream end of the panel is located above a historic dam. This site was documented as part of the Alexandria Project in 2019. Panel 1 was split into 14 sections to facilitate documentation. Unlike other sites documented during the Alexandria Project recorded in Val Verde county, this site is located in Terrell County - as such, its official trinomial is 41TE0009.
