More model information41VV0076 (Black Cave) is an archaeological site located within Seminole Canyon State Park and Historic Site in Val Verde County, Texas. Black Cave contains numerous examples of Pecos River Style pictographs painted along the rockshelter wall. Panel 1 at Black Cave is located on the downstream end of the site. The best-preserved images within Panel 1 are a series of large Pecos River style figures painted high above the shelter floor. Black Cave can be visited on a guided tour of Presa Canyon through Seminole Canyon State Park and Historic Site.
