Joël Bontoux was born on March 18, 1969. A Yamaha rider since 1987, he has proven to be an exceptional athlete on land and sea. In his 17-year career with the tuning fork brand, he has amassed no fewer than 7 Jet Ski World Championship titles, 5 victories at the 12 Hours of Pont de Vaux, and has managed to become a 9-time French Quad Champion, when combining motocross and Supermoto disciplines. Joël Bontoux racing in Morocco in 2011, on this occasion he tested a quad bike developed by Salomon, customized in the colors of his favorite shoes. It’s a real “fake news,” but hey, a little humor can’t hurt!
