I chose to go for a classic medieval fantasy vibe by using saturated natural colors. My goal was to create a cosy tavern where a traveler could rest at the end of an adventure. I changed most materials, added interest by varying roughness, opacity, SSS and emissive values, and went overboard with post-processing to give the scene a cosy feel. I used ground shadows to create the illusion of a different base, but the mesh was not altered. I played around with the lighting until I got the nightime feel I was looking for.
