This recumbent stone can be found on Stiarabhal, to the east of the main standing stone. It is heavily weathered but appears to have been chosen for the surface covering of quartzite, some of which still adorns the surface. The Stone is currently not recorded on Canmore or local Sites and Monuments records.
The stone’s long axis directly points towards the Airigh na h-Aon Oidhche Chambered Cairn, 500 metres away on the crest of the raised plateau to the South-east. The white blaize of quartzte makes the stone visible from a considerable distance and can be easily identified from the summit of Ruabhal.
It seems this quartzite covering was a desirable feature and can be seen on several other Benbecula Standing Stones.
As usual, the range pole is aligned North-South with red to North
