This 3D model is a high-quality representation of a classic hexagonal graphite pencil, designed with an emphasis on “lived-in” realism. The asset features the iconic yellow and black striped pattern, common in traditional stationery, but enhanced with a weathered texture that includes fine surface scratches and a slightly dulled finish from handling.
The model is meticulously detailed at both ends: the tip shows a realistic wood grain where it has been sharpened, leading to a blunt graphite lead, while the tail end features a worn pink eraser held by a textured metallic ferrule. The PBR materials are calibrated to accurately reflect the different properties of the lacquered wood, the rough rubber of the eraser, and the metallic sheen of the band. It is an ideal “scatter prop” for arch-viz offices, school environments, or cluttered artist desks where subtle environmental storytelling is required.
