Acheulean handaxe from unknown location at Cape Point nature reserve, South peninsula of Cape Town. Quartzitic sandstone. Uncontextualised artifacts of this nature are usually ascribed to the early stone age. 16cmx9cm. 3D model generated using 119 images taken on a Canon EOS R5 using a 50.0mm lens in Reality Capture Software. This item is curated by the Fish Hoek Valley Museum (FHVM) and was scanned with the permission of the museum.
