Polychrome wood carving (14th-15th century).
Originally from the Church of Santa María de Tábara and currently on display in the permanent collection of the Zamora Museum (Spain). I created this model from an incomplete and low-quality photogrammetry image. I processed it with Reality Capture and had to discard the texture of the original model due to the poor lighting quality. I then used Blender to complete the parts of the sculpture that were not captured (mainly the back). Next, in ZBrush, I sculpted the reconstructed parts and integrated them with the original photogrammetry. Finally, I recreated the texture with Substance 3D Painter, reproducing the current state of the piece. The deterioration of the polychrome layer and the damaged stucco layer reveal the wood beneath in some areas.
