- Note: The statue was restored in Rome at an indeterminate date prior to its purchase in October 1728 by Augustus II the Strong, Elector of Saxony. Only the torso is ancient. The restored parts were removed by Georg Treu, director of the museum, in the late 19C. This model shows its earlier, restored condition.
