More model informationTravertine relief fragment dating to the Amarna Period (c. 1346–1336 BC). The sunk relief depicts the hands of an unidentified figure, likely Akhenaten, offering two jars to the Aten. It is unknown what type of monument this fragment originates from. It was previously in the collection of the Kent family, who list it as coming from Flinders Petrie’s excavation at Amarna. Petrie excavated the site during the 1891–92 season. The fragment was later bequeathed to Harrogate Museum in 1968.
