This hood, from Culture Mebêngôkre Kayapo, has been made from recycled plastic straps, wood, bark and cotton thread. Its shape remains that of the traditional hoods used for harvesting garden produce. It measures 74.5x29x30cm.
It comes from Brazil, State of Parà, Gorotire indigenous land, Motukôre village. It is kept at the Museum of Toulouse under the inventory number MHNT.ETH.2017.2.
