Photogrammetry scan of an ammonite fossil. This specimen features a classic planispiral shell with well-preserved radial ribbing and visible internal chamber structures. Ammonites were extinct marine cephalopods that lived during the Mesozoic era, particularly abundant in the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods.
