Study on the human skull, this model is the evolution of a first work sculpted in a single piece.
I started with sphere in Zbrush, use Move, Standard, Dam Standard, ClayBuildup and hPolish brushes to sculpt, Dynamesh and ZRemesher, as well I created UV (UV master) an ID maps (polypaint) and export the final model in high and low resolution.
I have adjusted the UV cordenates in Cinema 4D (Body Paint - UV Edit module) to create 3 UDIM’s (upper, jaw and teeth) with the propose of bring more resolution and texture detailes in model.
Finaly in Substance Painter, I made a basic bone texture in two phases.
BASE COLOR: One color with two variation, the first is the base, the second one just tweak some values and apply procedural textures masked.
SURFACE DETAILES: they are made from one layer with rough channel enabled + add effects + procedural textures (noise/scratch) and play with some negative and positive values.
