Ruins of the ancient city of Callatis are found in many locations within the modern city of Mangalia, Romania. Callatis was initially founded as a Greek colony in the 6th Century BC and was subsequently conquered by the Romans in 72BC. It remained an important city near the Black Sea through the 4th Century. This 3D model is one example of the surviving ruins of Callatis, located adjacent to The Muzeul de Arheologie Callatis.
