Tomb of the abbots of the Monastery of San Zoilo, Carrión de los Condes, Alonso Barrantes († 1627) and Juan Díaz de Lavandero († 1631), moved here in 1633. It is located on the north wall of the cloister, next to the processional door. At its front is the Benedictine shield and the epigraphy in Latin following:
“BARRANTES QVE DIAZ QVE VNA CONDVNTVR IN VRNA QVOS DECVS IN MERITIS VNA QUE FAMA CANIT. SVSCITAT OSSA PATRVM VIRTVS. ARS MARMORA CLAVSTRI, SAXA LOQVVNTVR OPES, OSSA LOQVVNTUR OPVS” (In this sepulcher Barrantes and Diaz lies, to whom they sing to one their fame and glory in honor of their merits. Exalts the virtue of their bones. The stones proclaim their power, their bones speak of their work)
Nicho de los abades del Monasterio de San Zoilo, Carrión de los Condes, Alonso Barrantes († 1627) y Juan Díaz de Lavandero († 1631), trasladados aquí en 1633. Se encuentra en el muro norte del claustro, al lado de la puerta procesional. En su frontal se sitúa el escudo benedictino y la epigrafía anterior
