More model informationAt the Water’s Edge, final recording of an archaeological excavation carried out by the Living on Water team with student volunteer excavators from the University of Glasgow at Ardnagual. Located just west of Killin, Perthshire, this hut cirlce is typical of highland, central, Scotland, but somewhat unusual in its location so far down the slopes of the hills and near to the shore of Loch Tay - most hut circles survive above 250m above sea level, while this one is located at around 130m above sea level. The excavation was funded by the Royal Archaeological Institute
