Our models had to be really low poly to get to work on the Wii. For the render, a Mesh Smooth modifier was applied in 3ds Max in order to get rid of jaggy edges, due to the lack of polys.
I'm noticing several of these models have a weird topology for rounded parts. it looks like they were triangulated and then subdiveded afterward. mewtwo's tail and light samus' armor i noticed in particualr. any insight on why they were done like that?
