More model informationCup and ring stone installed within the children’s environmental garden at Ashover Primary School, Derbyshire. The gritstone boulder was churned up by a JCB during the levelling of the playing-field. A schoolteacher and a parent recognised this stone along with another as being carved with prehistoric designs. The boulders became the focus of a community project led by the school which conserved them and provided learning opportunities about prehistoric peoples.
