Assignment 3 - Character, Creature or Vehicle

3D Model

For this assignment, students will explore the creation of a full character, creature or vehicle.

The character/creature/vehicle should be fully UV unwrapped and textured and essentially complete outside of rigging.

Students will create or locate concept art to support the creation of the character. Creature concepts must be humanoid, they can have animal or alien features, but the body should be humanoid. The style will be up to the student, just make sure whatever is chosen, you keep it consistent throughout the sculpt and model. Creatures can be more animal-like, but try not going to abstract (like a jellyfish or a cloud creature or something). Vehicles can be existing vehicles or something made up.

Students will be responsible for creating the model in 3dCoat, Blender, or Zbrush. And then creating a base mesh through retopo in 3D Coat, Blender, or an equivalent retopology tool.
