BAB 1819 Cave Carving

Patients of a Small Pox Hospital in the southern edge of North Brookfield MA often would spend time at a cave on a nearby hill. At this cave they would play cards and relax as they were recovering. In 1819 one of the patients carved his initials and the year into the ledge where the cave lived.
