More model informationBahía Galenses (BG) is the name given to a 19th century shipwreck site found near Puerto Madryn, Chubut province, Argentina. It is believed to belong to an American whaler ship. The model corresponds to the area of the site where the remains of the try-works were found (BG3). This area was partially excavated in November 2018. This archaeological project is led by Dr. Mónica Grosso and architect Cristian Murray, researchers of the Instituto Nacional de Antropología y Pensamiento Latinoamericano (INAPL) of Argentina.
