This was tkaen at Dave’s house in Albany California. I think these were honey crisps, they sure taste as sweet as cider and are wonderully crisp. This was another one of those scans that started out to be of some mushrooms, and some apples, but then I scanned them all. The tree leaves were moving so I did not shoot to much of that. I scanned the whole house, yard, and Dave focusing on a the house, but shooting what was there. It can take days or months to process it all, if ever. I do get a number of subjects that “fail” and then years later I can actually process those pieces. Sometimes I go back to pick up more pieces of the puzzels, do a better scan, or learn how to tell the larger story. Like photography, some of the best subjects are not entirely planned, but start as a distraction from doing something else.
