Biface (Pekari locality)

This is the bifacial quartzite tool (handaxe) without a basal part (fresh damage). The artefact is a surface finding near the village of Pekari (Ukraine). It probably dates to the Middle Paleolithic period.

Raw: local quartzite.

Parameters: 80.8 x 52.7 x 24.4 mm; 91,19 g.
