Zhang Deng Yu Shi - Introduction

Zhang Deng Yu Shi is a demon in the game Black Myth: Wukong. He appears in the third chapter, Little Western Heaven.

Zhang Deng Yu Shi was originally a woodworker who rebuilt an ancient temple. The abbot wanted to rebuild a temple to show his own path to bliss. He chose a forest of towering trees in the mountains and wanted to use the ancient trees there as pillars. Everything went smoothly. Within half a year, all the wood was ready. The craftsmen were paid and packed up, and they could go down the mountain the next day. That night, an unknown monster in the forest dragged the craftsmen away and killed them. After that, the craftsmen turned into monsters, with vines replacing their heads and a lantern hanging from the top of the vines.
