Blasthill Neolithic Vessel

This Early Neolithic bowl was found in the chamber of a Clyde group chambered long cairn at Blasthill, Mull of Kintyre, Scotland, excavated in 2009. This distinctive pot type, Breton in origin, is found in W/SW Scotland and NE Ireland. See, for example, an example from a passage tomb at Achnacreebeag, Argyll (https://skfb.ly/oAYBV).
