More model informationThe 2018 excavation revealed the full extent of the Mycenaean burial enclosure and the tombs within. Although there is a complicated serious of constructions to monumentalize the area, the use of the tombs, the construction of the rectangular peribolus wall, and the tumulus mound above that all date to the period of the beginning of the Late Helladic period, ca 1700-1600 BCE.
