The central, recumbent stone and possible artificial platform of the possible stone alignment along the flank of Bowden Hill, West Lothian. Bowden Hill has an extensive Iron Age hill fort on its summit.
The recumbent stone has possibly been toppled from its orginal upright position. These stones were almost entirely covered in thick moss an turf, which was pulled back (and later replaced intact) to reveal the boundaries of the recumbent stone and to confirm that there were other, possibly interlocking stones behind the step of thestone setting that resembles a platform.
This is rather an untidy model since the rough grassy area, around and between the stones, did not show well on the 3D model and so had to be trimmed drastically. The model does however show the stones, and their positional relationship to one other, reasonably clearly.
