22,2 x 9,3 cm / 1,6 kg

Nº inv. Real Academia de la Historia 179

Bronze piece with a wolf head belonging to an Iberian charriot. Found in 1860 on the hill of Maquiz (Menjibar, Jaen, Spain). It was discovered with three other pieces belonging perhaps to the same charriot (one preserved also in the Royal Academy of History of Spain and the other two in the National Archaeological Museum of Spain). It dates between the 2nd Century B.C. and the early 1st Century B.C.
